By Isabella

Once upon a time there was a rabbit named Rose. Rose the Rabbit had blue eyes and grey fur that was soft. She had big, black floppy ears. Her tail was brown and fluffy. She was smart, nice and funny.  Blueberry the Bluebird lived in the forest. He had green eyes, a black short, stout beak, and a rusty red chest. The bottom of his tail was black and the top was blue. Blueberry was happy, loud, and speedy.

One day Blueberry the Bluebird was flying in the forest looking for water. He stopped at a stream. When he was drinking he spotted a rabbit. It was Rose the Rabbit. Rose was at the edge of the forest and was also drinking water from the stream.

A hunter came along. He was wearing a coat made of bear fur. He saw the rabbit drinking from the stream. Blueberry the Bluebird saw the hunter and he began to chirp. Rose heard the chirping and saw the hunter. Rose was scared because the chirping meant danger. Rose hopped away. The hunter was angry and sad. The hunter ran after the rabbit. He fell on a tree root and bumped his head.

Blueberry flew towards Rose and chirped to her. Rose thumped with her rabbit paw saying she was ok. Blueberry flew to the ground next to Rose and chirped a beautiful song. Rose cheered by thumping again with her paws. Rose hopped over to a berry bush to show Blueberry the food.

They picked the berries, ate them, and lived happily ever after.
